The Ford Motor Company introduced the Model 40 in 1932. The new models in 1933 had a stretched wheelbase, pointed grill and a Ford V-8 engine. It was lightweight and had a reputation for being extremely fast. The 1933 Ford Model 40 had ten body styles and sales were over 300,000 in 1933.
